Ahmet began working in the theatre sector 20 years ago and is now Head of Inclusive Talent Engagement at Somerset House. Previous roles include Director of the diversity charity Get Into Theatre, Head of School at School 21 and Theatre Research lecturer at Trinity Laban. Ahmet is also a Trustee for the Albany Theatre and a PhD research candidate at Central School of Speech and Drama investigating ethnicity, race and institutional racism within training for the arts.
