Future Connected and the London Borough of Lambeth announced that Caroline Boury, was the winner of the Future Connected 2024 £10,000 Award in March 2024.
The finalists included leaders of 11 Lambeth-based grass-roots cultural organisations who were awarded a place on the second Future Connected Programme as Fellows.
A panel of independent judges selected the most compelling business plan from a values, creativity and feasibility perspective. The £10,000 Future Connected Award is aimed at helping the Award recipient realise that plan. All participants who completed the programme received £1,000.
The winner was announced at a celebratory Gathering at the Royal Festival Hall on the evening of Thursday 7 March hosted by Lambeth Councillors Jacqui Dyer and Donatus Anyanwu, who also announced the winner.
“I am absolutely delighted and proud to be awarded this year’s Future Connected Award. I have been so inspired by this year’s fellows and the business leaders who so graciously shared ideas and expertise. This experience has been absolutely invaluable to me both professionally and personally. I am extremely excited to put everything we have learned into the next phase of development for The Boury Academy to ensure maximum impact for our community and the best possible outcomes for our young people.”
