Sue Emmas is Associate Artistic Director at the Young Vic Theatre and Artistic Director at Regional Theatre Young Directors Scheme (RTYDS).  She leads the Young Vic’s Creators Program, the only scheme of its kind for multi- and anti-disciplinary artists, where she has been pivotal in running initiatives for directors and creators, aiding the early career development of many artists. She was a founding member of Young Vic Taking Part, the theatre’s renowned creative engagement programme. She has been Artistic Director of RTYDS since 2007 and leads the professional artist development programme for new and early career theatre directors in the UK.
